New grass field for fields 7& 8. Never been used before. Nice and Flat.

Only need 4 meter netting required, so we decide that holes and vertical scaffold poles is the way to go.

One hole. Nice. Second hole is a bit tough. Third hole.... BANG..... Hiss almighty stink of gas!!!! Put out that fag Geoff!!

Result . Main gas supply to complex including the pool boilers cut off... Pool emptied of swimmers and told that your friendly Tournament organiser faces a bill of 50k a day for the complex being out of use.

I pointed out that I was not exactly happy with this arrangment.

Friendly British Gas fitter arrives. "More than my jobs worth mate" However he stops irritating hissing noise. Another Friendly British Gas fitter will arrive tomorrow to contnue the job left by today's Friendly British gas fitter.

The pool re opens and the threat of financial ruin lifts for the time being.

Needless to say.. Its scaffold towers on fields 7 & 8.

Check in tomorrow for chapter two. "Alvaro loses his Mr Keepling Happle Pies"

No, "50k" Is a new brand of Alphabet Spagetti shapes with the other 25 letters taken out. So a tin of pasta shapes means nothing to Niall, unless he was planning on eating it for lunch.....
