I'd much rather have the freak than the flatline. If you break a ball in the faltline, you might as well leave the game. They are very hard to clean and won't shoot straight unless there is absolutely no paint in them. The freak allows you to size the barrel to the paint, which is one of the more important determinants of accuracy.

yup, and to recreate the extra range provided by the flatline.....simply point your marker upwards slightly :)
you won't believe the difference a variable bore set makes to accuracy, plus the freak is very easy to sell on, or switch to a different marker (keep the inserts and all your fronts, only need buy a new back instead of replacing everything).

If you were going for a multi-bore barrel set, i would recomend the evil pipe system. Best system ive used, my only critisism of it would be that the front is quite thin, so need to be carefull when sliding into baracades etc. other than that, great
