Ok just to clarify how the basics work for you guys.
Saturday will be prelims day where all qualification rounds will be played across the whole day, similar to the Millennium series rather than the current half day block.
For those who do not make the qualification cut you will all be thrown into random draw for the FED shield event on the sunday. We will draw this out the hat on the sat night, on site at the main marquee.
Now this is all subject to final team numbers but as follows,
Sat
M7 Race 4 format.
Teams will play 3 preliminary matches with 8 teams qualifying for the sunday play offs.
M5 Race 2 format
Teams will play four, race 2 points matches (minimum of 8 games, max 12) on sat, with 8 teams making the cut for the sunday finals group.
Sunday
Finals groups will commence for FED cup qualifiers in M7 and M5 formats
FED Shield will be played for with each team recieving a minimum of 4 prelim matches in the morning, and the finals being played out in the afternoon.
The seeded prelim groups and final info will be placed here next week once we have final confirmation of teams.
As you can see by the growing team list this event is hotting up, and i for one am certainly looking forward to the paintball, and other extra activities on offer across the weekend.
