Wooop!
The nice man from TNT just made my day, my new Ego just arrived!!
First impressions? The gun is sooooo light! I am not kidding, I think the barrel weighs more than the gun. So, as per normal, I reached for the manual before trying the gun (yeah right, as if!). Gassed up, Halo on and away we go. Hmmm, seconds later need more paint! This gun is very very fast and the trigger is so much nicer than my E1 plus there seems to be virtually no kick at all, way less than my Matrix which surprised me a lot when you think this thing weighs so little. The new E2 grips are a vast improvement and the menu system is sweet and very simple to navigate.
Loaded up with a Halo and 1.1L bottle and the balance is really nice, the clamping feedneck is rock solid and the snatch grip is well designed. Shooting quickly is simple, even for us larger fingered folk as there is loads of room inside the trigger guard. The ROF indicated is now on 15bps and a little more playing will see that go right up.
Well, I am going to go play with it some more now and I am playing this weekend so I'll post up a better review after the tournament.
