The Definitive Tournament Listing

After reading Robbo & Russ's bat and ball thread with some interest it got me thinking about what & where & which format all the tournaments are ?
All this talk of a national league that i doubt will happen , made me think of putting myself in the newbies shoes who wants to go off and start playing "ball", but doesn't know where to look.
So if you wouldn't mind posting up "permanent & established tournies" from the UK, Europe and the US, and i'll sort them into an order that makes sense.
If you could include a weblink or phone number and contact i'd appreciate it.
