Ok guys crunch time.
The final scores are in and the rankings complete.
Now the rankings are based on points acumulated over the first 3 rounds. Where points are tied we then refer to point difference, calculated from your eliminations scored and conceeded. Now one problem we had is with the amount of games each team played. Some groups had 9, others 10 in some rounds so as stated after round 1 we would use a score average to even out the missing match for the teams that had competed in all 3 rounds. This has actually effected a team, and we feel that this method produces the fairest outcome. The Point efficiency index shows the points acumulated per match.
So what happens now?
M5 Premier and Championship are locked divs, so teams that have qualified in them are required to play every event. If they cannot then they will drop to the M5 Conference which is our open section where teams can play all or some of the rounds remaining.
Any team that also feels they would like to drop to a lower division may give up there placing. This will then be offered to the next highest ranking team in the division below.
I will have full details of all the workings by the end of the week.
Any querries ill happily explain them.
