The CPPS 2011 M7 Elite league

After talks amongst the top level teams and sponsors we decided this year to try and look at why we in the UK seem to have dropped behind the top teams in Europe and address the results.

So after sending out invites to 9 teams, we are delighted that all 9 have responded with a resounding yes to the Elite league.

So it is with great pleasure we proudly announce the CPPS M7 Elite League. All 9 teams will compete across the 6 events in this locked league for the series tittle. We hope that it will not only provide the ultimate in showcase paintball for the UK scene, but also provide a better pool of competetion for the competing teams to grind it out. This continual grind will then hopefully translate into better results in the Millennium series and once again put UK ball back on course.

What a great year 2011 is shapping up to be, and its all happening at the National Paintball Centre with the CPPS.

We will still be running the M7 Super league as an open format and have several new teams in this division for 2011 as well as the old favourites. Hopefully this will also encourage teams aspiring to play the M7 format to take the step without the concern of playing the stronger teams.

The Manchester Firm are really proud to be apart of this, and i can only see good things coming from it and hope we can all learn from each other.

I have been rather quiet for a while (which I am sure you are all pleased about) but I would just like to say a BIG thanks to Rich and the teams who have committed to this league.

I know it has taken a great amount of effort to bring this all together and I really believe it will help UK ball and, I hope, inspire teams to a greater level.

Personally, I feel really enthused for this new season, not just from the Elite League perspective but also looking at the numbers who are committing to the CPPS for 2011. You have our promise that we will continue to invest to develop the site and what we offer you the players.

The Manchester Firm are really proud to be apart of this, and i can only see good things coming from it and hope we can all learn from each other.

The London Tigers in their 25 year are really looking forward to this League, and I don't think we have seen the top teams in the UK commit to a series since the Home counties league in the middle of the 90's!!!

Markie we have to learn from each other, for years the UK Teams never really stick together, but over the last few years that has changed, and long may this continue!!
