The CPPS 2010 thanks

Normally i would put a big list of thanks but this time im not.

Instead this will be read out at the CPPS presentation evening on the 13th November.
Also we will have full details up for the 2011 season and the prize giving.

We want the night to be a fun, relaxed evening so to help break the atmosphere the top 3 teams from each format will have to perform a kareoke song before the prize giving!

More info on this will be updated in the post regarding this.

But for now i just wanna say a big thanks to everyone that helped this year with the series and to the teams, refs and all my staff thankyou for making it the series what it is.

Thankyou to all the trade stands that turn up and support the events, and to the series sponsors we thankyou for your support this year and look forward to working with you season.

Gonna jump on the thanks bandwagon a little bit here, and would like to thank Mark and Rich themselves, for putting on such an unbiased event. Been a pleasure reffing for an organiser/organisers that have no hidden agendas, aren't bound by series sponsor pressure to bow down to pissy player gripes but that'snot to say that any of the sponsors believe in such underhand tactics, far from it. Knowing that from a ref point of view, we could go to Mark and Rich with any team or player issues we had and they were swiftly dealt with and that we had full backing of both guys. We as refs could step on field, make our calls each and every game and know that we weren't being told sh!t to keep us sweet, and that neither were the teams. My ONLY gripe is that in January and February, Rich's supply of various Haribo goddies that he supplies FOR FREE were harder than Ron Jeremy in the Viagra factory. I could swear that the cherry whip were actually friggin' flavoured macro line!!!! Well done guys, here's to the Fed Cup, the CPPS p!ss up (let's face it, that's what it's gonna bloody be, and why not lol) and to the 2011 season. Oops, sorry almost forgot. They say that behind every good man, is a long suffering wife shaking her head and tapping her foot wondering what was she thinking. Yep, I'm talikng about Rich's better half Gemma. Event after event, she's been there, along with some more than able assistants, handing out lovely money to us refs, taking lovely money (some of it printed the night before!!!) from teams, fighting back the hordes of Haribo thieves and just generally taking jovial friendly abuse from everyone......but not me, not ever at any time . Top job Gem and co as well

First off thanks to Rich and everyone at BOP for another great tournament. The whole site is fantastic and we can't wait to get back there.

Big thanks to all the teams we played, Temper, Firm, Mad Monks and Lethal Bizzle. Great games with great sportsmanship and can't wait to play you all again.

Thanks again to Rich for getting our last games pushed forward and we did just make our flight!

And finally the refs who did a great job all day as always.
