Well that time is on us again, the latest of the latest clone gets released to the usual "yummy's" and "i WANT!!!!" dolly style gasps of amazement.

Many would say there's no hope for the future of paintball as it's the usual same sad song that seems to be sung. The same tune, same riffs, same as the last one, one hit wonder.

Sadly this seems to be the way forward and we are the ones to blame, we settle for the never ending re-incarnation of last years so-called supergun. The big three are all in the same boat, swimming along with the tide that seems to be never ending and never changing.

It's time we said i want this and that, it's our money ffs. Years ago some manufacturers used to listen and make changes we wanted, not always the right way or far enough. but they listened.

Where do we go from here, god it's so boring.:(

Look at the most popular thread on these boards and you have your reason

I would think it's down to those specific market forces surely, someone would have to go out on a hell of an expensive limb to provide any real innovation and if it didn't suceed they would be financially ****ed,or maybe the product has got to such an effective level there really isn't anywhere else to go ? short of charging another £500 on top for a 'unique' anno

I think let the people who want the latest shiniest toy to carry on, and in the meantime any one else can pick up an awesome marker like a DM9 or Ego9 for like £400. Thats reasonable even to the occasional baller.

I suppose if you are taking industry innovation as a whole? I guess its going to be a few years to see if the money comes back as people supposedly get jobs and more money.

what difference does it make? do you expect manufacturers to stop making products ?

are you asking people not to buy them? I thought the industry needed to promote spending, not the opposite.
nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Dont like it? Dont buy it, simple as.

Speaking of innovation when is the 2 tube angel ever gonna surface?

And please enlighten me as to why Angels NEED to go to two tubes? Or any other markerneeds to get lighter?

Maybe we should make them all capable of HIGHER rates of fire too, i mean it's such an advantage these days.

am not sure what your gettig at. but in my years experiance using Egos. the Ego 9 - Ego SL94 Ego 10 are all a step up, be it not a huge step from SL94 - 10. 10 does in my eyes still come out on top.

Oh sure yeah it's a massive cannon of a thing. If the guns too fat ass for you, and you keep getting shot on it I can safely assure you it ain't the markers fault, if it's too fat ass for you to lift you need an extra weetabix in the morning, failing that don't leave the house lest a passing breeze should lift you and deposit you in another county.

If it goes to a 2 tube great, it'll be equally as good as most other every other gun out there at reliably spitting out 10bps without mashing it to bits.

Where's the innovation in the one common denominator to all paintball games?? What more do people expect from markers?? How about something that doesn't require tweaking in changing weather conditions ie summer to winter, something which you don't need to buy a barrel kit for, something which has a programmable board meaning you don't have to go and spend even more wonga on a virtue or whatever?

Oh f*ck, hang about.... that really covers most markers these days. Well except the barrel kit, unless you buy an Angel.
