hey guys, urm just thinking after certain cases with trades/deals going wrong if people are banned and make a second account then mabey a way to stop this is, if ip banning etc doesn't work is to have a "Black List" with known details (without breaking any laws i.e data protection) don't know if this would work but might be worth a try?

very hard to pull off m8, without people direct consent you wouldnt be able to post Any details apart from their previous usernames on a "public blacklist" without them being able to nail you for it, that would be unless the forum rules were updated

so are you wanting people to place names onto the black list if they have had bad dealings??

could cause problems with people having a grudge against certain people and putting up there bad traders when there not.

just a thought. mite be a good idea thou as long as it isnt abused.

what do you class as serious reasons?? like the guy thats giving drmaccon problems at the moment?

hes generally been ok then just started to be a arse. how many infractions wud it take?

if some one makes 1 bad deal whats stopping them makin more?
how do you police it?

well yes if he doesnt pay money back, he has been rude to him and has ignored admins

i think it could be like the lost marker thread - where its locked by mods and only mods edit it etc - and you can put ideas forward and mods can check it out etc etc. as for details - what is the freedom of information act all about? hey. and anyway its all in a phone book somewhere - theres always a way to find out details so they cant exactly hide it.

mabey if this did go ahead in rules of joining put in something if you comit basicly robery your details will be posted up.

its a good idea and pm's to mods with details so they can enter them is also a good idea.

thats if the mods want the extra work and hassle??
