The Big secret about Girls and P8ntball

I have been reading a few threads and have noticed the theme of my g/f Pi$$ed cause of my p8nt bill, One poor guy even had to go about getting "monkey" From the ITV digital adds.

Now what I have learned so far is she does not mind me playing (OK so i don't play as much as I would like.) but they too have weaknesses.

Have you never had "I was in the sale with my friend and I had to get this jumper and trousers and skirt.....It was a bargin"

You probably roasted her and told her she knew that you can't afford that, you are meant to be saving....etc etc

I think its time to reveal how to get out of all your p8ntball ventures. Be a little more tolerant of her whim buying. When she asks you what you think tell her she looks great, it was only £20 well that is a bargin.....

Now if you have a large out going yourself (new barrel, marker whatever) Make sure that when you buy this you also buy a pair of shoes. (for her) She may be angry at the expense but inside she is loving your thoughtful actions and it will notice when you reveal the other purchase.

It may take a while but learn the kinda shoes she likes, her foot size, also her dress size, these things are all important and to her its like you wanting to her to know what bore size each variety of paint is.

The other thing I have found out is the female points system,

You buy your lady a bunch of flowers (eg roses) thats 1 point,

Buy your lady one flower thats one point.
Buy her one the next day (all as a suprise i.e you aint done a thing wrong) and that is another point.

so in one day you could have bought 12 roses thats still just a point do it 1 at a time the points build up and they have a better memory for these things than the average male. (not saying any one is average)

Dunno man, sounds like a lot of effort!
Staying single works for me at the moment, don't need to justify any of my expenditure ask permission to attend a weekend long tourny or any of the other girlfriend associated crap!

Well, it has been proven that you develop some real quick wrist action for playing pump class......But if you want to go shoot an electro, having a woman around is a plus (for the both of you) .
Tom Tom, I'm not too sure about your system, cos if you let the ladies just go around spending as they want to, you won't have any money for gear left! We'll all be back to stock class and splatmasters......

Liz the only problem here is I have a girlfriend and she just don't want to even play once, let alone borrow my Kit and come to tourneys with me, and unlike my marker I don't think she would appreciate me upgrading to a better model

So for people like Paul who are single your theory is great for people like myself I have to work on the lines of she is a size 4 shoe and likes diamonds (ar$e )

I'm just happy that my household income is more than enough to allow me to play, and my wife to buy shoes and such.

Hmmm....some paintball related stuff would make great pick up lines...(if you're trying to score with certain types of women)....

You seem like a bright young man and you've got your whole life ahead of you.... don't ruin it by making the same mistake 100,000s of our fellow men have made over the millenia, by thinking you have *worked out* the workings of the female mind

You may think you've got it sussed, but believe me mate if it were THAT simple we'd all be happier men!!

It's more likely your better half, is lulling you into a false sense of security by allowing you to think there is a point system you can manipulate or a an acceptable male equivalent to her outrageous and unwarranted spending sprees, don't be fooled. That path leads to pain and misery without end!!

Better to do as I do, just follow these three easy steps:

Step Number 1 - Smile and say ".. Yes Dear"
Step Number 2 - Buy the marker/barrel/s anyway, and hide it!
Step Number 3 - If she finds the offending item you immediately counter with "... that's not mine... It's Bob/Darren/Mike's ( an imaginary friend works best.. no checking up you see) .. honest"

Not original I know... but cheaper than flowers, and robust enought o get you outta most scrapes
