Okay, I know that it has been said before, that the Russian Legion plays arguably the best ball in the world, but afyter what I've seen this weekend, I have to say that in my opinion these guys are the most awesome players I've seen.
Those that witnessed their games over the past weekend will know what I'm talking about, these guys were ripping up teams left and right. Fast, aggressive paintball, but clean as a whistle. These guys were faster of the break than any team I saw during the weekend, faster even than the Yankee big guns. They executed their moves with machinelike precision and speed, and it was not a matter of them responding to what the other team did on the field, it was a case of them dictating how the game was played. I can't believe that these guys did not end up winning the event! They would have deserved to do so, even though their second place is nothing to sneer at at all.
The dedication to perfection that I saw in these guys is something I've never seen before. On the saturday I did not leave the site until about 10 PM, and that's when these guys came off the fields, finally being satisfied that they had done enough preparation. All other teams had long packed up and left by then.
I think it'll only be a matter of time before these guys start taking home the trophies consistantly. Truly the most impressive paintball I've ever seen. Respect, deep, deep respect.
