The art of removing macroline?

So then... how do you all manage to get your macroline out of the reg/oops? I have to battle with my Ego for 15 mins each time trying to hold the damn collar down while pulling the tube out!

Adjust an adjustable spanner (!) so that it just slides over the macroline, press the collar down with the side of the spanner et, voila! Makes life a hell of a lot easier!

When you get the macroline out, cut about 10mm off it to clear the burr that the fitting has made on the hose.
Guaranteed it will come off easier after that.

Hopefully you've got enough length in your macroline to do this.

or get some different fittings that are easier to remove the hose from (cough tom allen cough)
