The Academy has been set up to enable players of all standards and all formats to train and compete with like minded to people to get what they want out of paintball. It costs £25 a year to join the Academy and in return you get full use of the site, an academy membership card which gets you discount off all products on our website, no young guns fees and your official Academy member training top.

All formats will be available on these days sup air, woods ball or concept (hyperball) allowing everyone to play and train on the format they want.

There will be no pressure to play sup air or woodsball everyone is there to play paintball, enjoy themselves and train hard to get better if they want to.

However here is where it gets slightly different when events come up it will work like a club works, everyone will put there name down stating what they want to play, eg ionman, masters etc. Then based on who has been playing the best on the Academy days we will take the best 5 who want to play that event to make squad 1, the second 5 to form a 2nd squad etc etc.

As such there is never pressure to play all events or even play any events, you can come once a month and just play the Academy day with you friends or put your name down to play an event, make new friends and see if you like the various aspects of paintball.

The Academy is also open to exisiting teams that want to still play together at events but are looking for others to train against and receive all the perks of academy members

There will also be Shock and So Manc run training clinics throughout the year exclusivly for Academy members

This is good news James, There are a couple of Academy's / Clubs now getting set up, which is a good start to the 09 season, which, I think is good for UK Ball, once we have got these set up we can start getting new players in to the sport and in a few years start competing again at international level!!

So we now have clubs starting up in the North of England with you James, I know that Rich and Mark from the Midlands are starting something, I have just started the London Tigers 2 Club in the South of England and then there is Chris (Syd) Pelling with a Club in the South West!!!!

So lets keep up the good work we have all started, and lets all PLEASE work together!!

I fully agree, we should work like any rugby club or football club works.

Once a quarter say each club visits another for a large training session where all members benefit and learn from other players.

Best of luck with the Tigers 2 Club, if you do anything like you did with ECI i am sure we will be seeing results very soon

Thanks for that mate and that would be a good idea!!!!!!

But all should remember Dave Simpson who should take a lot of credit for ECI.

And good luck to you also.

We are so glad to see so many clubs appearing once again. Since we have been around, (5 years)we have seen so many come and go.

We would love to arrange a training event with us at Nemesis Paintball Academy(Midlands), and at your homes too.

Please feel free to contact me for arrangements, or robof9, nitroball

Thanks
