The 50

Ok, this is where my lack of knowledge really becomes embarrasingly apparent

What *exactly* is the "50"? The reason I ask is because I've never known if it means say, 50 yards, the half way point or what? I assume that fields are different sizes and so I'm inclined to say its the half way one, but I'd like to know for sure.

Its the middle of the field mate.
Doesn't matter if its 50 yrds, or 500, its still the 50!

Excellent, thanks for clearing that up. So that must mean the 40, 30 etc. are the ones further away (or closer if its on your side!). Heh, something told me that was how it worked, but I needed to make sure

well, for our team, the enemies 30 and 40 would be 60 and 70
