At least we won one of the games. Fields one and four were biased as hell though!!

Still, it was a Sunday out shooting people, which is always good.

Now I have beer, and everything is good.

Walker, I just had an hour long bath, and I can still smell that stuff!!! Cheers for the attempt at deoderizing me though.....

Yeah, we only won one game all day , but it was a good laff, and we didn't do too badly considering we only won the toss once, I think, and the fields we played mostly were VERY biased, not impossible, just very hard from one end, and very easy from the other!

I'm sure doo-doo will fill you in later!

Biased fields

I am so sorry that you thought the fields were biased, as when we spoke to all 21 team captains no one actually thought that they were biased at all, it may be that the placement of the flags, may have led you to believe that, but when the field topography was taken into account they were in fact very even. A factor bourne out by the facts, games were won evenly form both ends of all four fields by teams in all three divisions.
However if you have any concerns it is better to bring them to our attention then we can do something about them. So if anyone does have any views on the series, the facilities at Activ8, we will consider them and act on them. Please post here or e-mail us at midlandsmasters@aol.com.

The Smell in the bogs made me sick.......in the bogs, which made the smell even worse.......then i was sick again....

Blakey, don't get me wrong, I'm not bitter in any way. Just my opinion. Actually, I think I just got sick of playing from the same side each time. I think it's down to us being useless tossers and always getting the same side of the field....

...aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great bunch of lads, marshalling was some of the fairest I've seen, organization was fantastic and the fields were certainly some of the most "interesting" I've played in a long time!!! That coupled with really friendly play, and the fact that, for a change, I never saw one argument all day between field refs and players made for a brilliant day.

...still thought fields 1 and 4 were biased though, but that just gives me more incentive to play there again and figure out a way to play them!!

No offence meant to anyone at all!!

WE HAD A GREAT LAFF AND A DAMM GOOD DAY OUT, THE FEILDS WERE,NT REALY BIASED JUST THAT OUR TEAM TOSSER COULDNT CALL THE RIGHT SIDE OF A 2 SIDED COIN !!! ( SORRY CRAIG )AND WE ALL ARE,NT BUILT LIKE F*CKIN MOUNTAIN GOATS !!. YES THE PUB WAS JUST DOWN THE ROAD ( 5 MILES AWAY ) BUT CRAIG SNIFFED IT OUT.
