Firstly, and at the risk of bringing down the wrath of the Mods , a big thanks to all the players that attended the Euro-5 man this weekend, it was a pleasure to Judge you, even Dave and Simmo:D

But secondly, and at the risk of bringing down the wrath of The Players I can honestly say a lot of you were pants:eek: :(

Now not all you and not all of the time, but a lot of you were very bad at a couple of things, but one thing in particular ( and you all know who you are.) Opposite hand shooting. Some of the position you guys got into to fire your guns down your weaker sides you would have to have been an Olympic gymnast to execute successfully.

Don't get me wrong there was a lot of Outstanding play , a lot of very lucky play but unfortunately some very poor play .

Now for the blatantly obvious ulterior motive for this post, The London Tigers are looking at running a Pro-school, similar to the two day event in Amsterdam we did earlier this Autumn, but most likely on just one day, early next year.
It will not be open to teams but to individuals who would like to improve their alround play.

Now I know my earlier comment isn't directed at you, but if just by chance you thought this might help you improve your game, book-in (when I let you know the details- watch this space) or let me know your at least remotely interested in doing it.

It was a very good tourney, I would say a pleasure to marshall ( in fact I just noticed I already have), but youv'e got to be some kind of sick f*ck to stand around for twelve hours in the wind and rain, get shouted at, shot at and whinged at all day long and get off on it. (Although John Dasousa seemed to:D )

And at a even greater risk of bringing down the Wrath of the Mods thanks to all of you ( I would have thanked them all when I was there Baca , but some had already left ;)

Steve " Merv" Wilson, Your decreppid old tiger on the trigger.
Or is that just how I feel now?;)

hey, i just wanted to add some stuff.

This was a fine tourney, not helped by the wind and rain. The field layouts were great, they promoted agressive play, and rewarded moves to the 50 tapes. The judging was top notch, the Tigers really know how to lay down the law, and they did so in a very unbiased manner. Finally, the venue is awesome, the staging area was excellent, and there was relativly no mud, considering the amount of rain that came down.

I'm really impressed with the event, the only real setback was the netting, but Warren assured me that they were going to get that sorted for next time.

All in all, i recomend this event to teams next year, and i look forward to attending it again.

Good Job Warren, and all the Tigers.

Cheers Colin, this was in no way aimed at any of your players, well apart from yourself:D :p
Your guys played great ball all weekend.

As you said, great tourney, great venue and already put into place plans to improve next year.

Hey but even the good can get better. You want to book a place at The london Tigers School of correctional Paintball?:D

overall i thought this was a good event, same as Red tho with the netting i was it on the top of my head while walking around.

apart from that i had no complaints marshalling on a whole was OK but the staging area and layout was great

i loved the fields - were great to play

altho we only droped 3 games love came 11th in Am div and beating the Tigers AM was the higlight of the monkeys weekend

only other thing was a proper crono area would have been nice at the start of the day at least so people can at least tinger with their guns before going to play and having a minute to change there gun or adjust it b4 they have to go on without it.

but it was a good tourney, see you next year

Whilst it's related, it kinda lives on it's own as far as a thread goes. As you said it's a thank you thread but not.

The other thread is the general post tournament, thanks, requests for pics and mutual appreciation.

Hope this helps.

Never thought of that

Let me think, you've got a top ranked team running a training day with hopefully lots of up and coming young ballers attending, showing off their skills, taking onboard what your guys are trying to show them and you are looking at having to expand your squad for possible commitments next year..........you'd be mad not to, wouldn't you? :p

But it really is just a training day;) we want individuals to come along, have a great day and go away with something positive. :)
