Ok so I have bought a marker from a different forum and should be with me in the next few days. Obviuosly the first thing Im going to do is test it's working but my question is, is there anything in particular I should test/look out for when it arrives?

I thought id ask for advice as that way if there is any faults (although the seller tells me everything works as it should) then I can resolve it straight away.

honestly the quickest way to figure out if its working, get a pod of paint and shoot it. so obviously if there is something seriously wrong like for example not firing at all but turning on, then you know what to start looking for. if its something more subtle like inconsistent shooting then you know what to look for there as well, and all of those you can diagnose from just shooting the gun.

What about any potential leaks? Are they easy to spot ie make plenty of hissing noise etc?

with regards to a bravo one.

air leaks will be very easy to spot, u might just need to change the white tape(cant remember the right name),

with regards the e-trigger (from my experience) when reassembling the marker after cleaning, don't tighten the grip bolts to much, it cause's issues with the board.

make sure to use a hard shell paint, with the stock bolt

have had 3 bravo ones, and to be honest they are tippman tru and tru, very hard to break in anyway

if ya have any other Q's just shout away, had mine for 3 years

yup the first time you hear a leak from a gun it is unmistakeable. dont worry about it though because it is only air so just try and find where its coming from then disconnect your air source and get to work fixing the problem. fingers crossed this doesnt happen though :D
