just wondering if anyone knows how long a peroid a new dive tank has before it has to be re tested again. i can't see any date on the bottle or am i just blind.

3yrs plus a visual inspection every 2 years...this is for tanks that DO NOT have surface valves on them...those valves cost lots more so most of us have the regular scuba valves.
The extension to 5 years may apply but a scuba store will know for sure.
