Yeah, except watching with England winning the world cup, congrats by the way! I like to remenber what happened during the season...and try to use it and remenber it for next year.
Here comes the story:
It was in Portugal, at Pedro's Millenium leg. I have been a paint magnet at this event, nevertheless I manage to survive at least one game so I have something to tell... (cause my memories of the rain from the dead box, the mud from the dead box ain't very interesting huh? )
Ok, so one of our player was running back with the flag and hanged it back in our base WHILE the ref yelled GAAMME OOVERR.
To understand well the situation he hanged it really during the GAAMME OVERRRR yell.
Now the scandinavinan ref (tomawhak field) does not give us the hang. I go to talk to the reff that yelled game over and tell him " Come on, I assure you, and so will the spectators, that it was hanged simultaneously with you yelling at the same time".
He answered me " I know, but I was looking at my wrist watch, the time ran out, then I yelled loud Game over, you have to understand that when I yelled it, the time was already over".
This day, I tried to argue very little and gave up. He was from scandinavia (understand here stubborn), seemed to be in a bad mood and I was so fed up anyway....
I think I tried a line like " Shouldn't you make the attacking winning team benefit of this so-so situation?"
Well it didn't work. Now that it is all over, can you tell me if we were abused by this ref, or if I behaved well to beleive and follow his decision?
