Need some friendly assistance man, firstly, is the Dutch venue confirmed for Mayhem? If so, where is it?
Secondly, The Machine™ will be there in force bro' but we need some guidance for accomodation of much cheapness, can you help? How much room is in your garage? Hallway? Floor? Back yard?....seriously, some cheap local accom. would rule.
Thirdly, err.....I haven't got a third one yet......hang on.....no, sorry dude, haven't got a third. Oh well.

But just to proove I'm a nice enough guy, here goes......

As far as I'm aware, the venue is confirmed. I'll give the guy that organises the whole shebang a buzz today to make sure though.....
I'm pretty sure accomodations should not be a problem. Just make sure any bookings will be done earlyish, and you'll be fine. I'll hit you with an e-mail after I've done some research into various establishments which may fit your taste (number of roaches, running water from a tap or along the walls, proximity to red light district, number of pushers in area, etc.)
There's always plenty of room in the trunk of my pimp mobile though.......

I may be a bit behind the times here, but is Mayhem moving to a Dutch site this year? Was'nt it held in the UK last year (sweeping valleys and mach gale force 7 wind???)

Yes!

Mayhem has been moved to Holland, or more specifically Amsterdam, this year! Obviously a good choice, not in the least because I live only a 20 minute car drive away from the site.

Amsterdam is a dangerous place for a paintball tourney. On the Sunday, no one would turn up for the finals. May have to go over and test out that theory

Dude, a while ago I was having a chat with a few of the peeps at WDP about there Angel Heaven. You don't want to know about the ideas we came up with for the Amsterdam version, given the fact that a lot of things that are considered heaven are illegal mostly everywhere except in Amsterdam. They seemed pretty interested though.

I think its good that a large paintball company like WDP does not have morals, and I think you'll find that this leg of the millenium series will be the fullest. I know for a fact that I will be doing everything I can to get over there, purely for the paintball of course

Until last summer I used to work for a paintball supplier here in Holland (the one that's helping out with organising the event), and for as long as I've worked there, I had people from all over the world asking when Amsterdam would have a leg in the series.
Major American teams were saying things like: Please get it organised, we already worked out a budget with our sponsors....
In other words, teams made sure that it was all good to go even before there was a tourney on! Bunch of eager beavers......

Obviously, its going to be popular so how close is the site to the airport/ferry terminal and how far is it away from the red light district? Obviously the important things sorted out first. Hotels...........nah, I have a feeling sleeping out will be the norm for that weekend/WEEK!!!
