I live in King's Lynn in norfolk. Me and my friends have been paintballing for about a year now and have been to loads of walk on days. I was wondering if anyone knows of any teams in the norfolk area we could contact. Or do u think it would be better to set up our own 3 man team.
Thankyou si

I would suggest trying to get into a team first, then if your really you have basic knowledge of the dynamics of a team.

There arent too many 3 man tournaments, your looking at, at least 5 man, possibly 7 man, then you have to consider your squad, ie 9-10 for a 7 man team.

Hope this helps.

Have you got any tips to get the extra 2 players in my team. Its not that no one wants to play its the start up cost of the equipment. I will be going to a walk on day this month do you think i will be able to talk to people there? Mabye to see if they will join or if im good enough jion another team.

Hi mate

Get a poster ready and network, ask the site owner if he knows of any like minded people etc., if he minds displaying the poster and maybe even backing your team.

As I mentioned, come and see a team training for a better insight.

Good luck m8 and yes... always allow for 2 more players than the format you enter into else you will find a number of events each year that you will not be able to field a team for... avoid familiy groups as if one cant make it, they generally all cant make it

The only way is tha you divide the costs equally as back players should use more paint than front players and you dont want a them and us situation.

We pay on the day and round it up a little to create a team fund, other teams pay subs, it is your call... have a joining fee that can go towards bulk buying paint... so you cn get it cheaper.

Paint consumption for us I reckon is about an average of 300 balls per player per game, so £55 to £70 per person
