Teams in Ayrshire/Glasgow area?

Hi all,

Not sure if the newbie zone is the best place for this but ...

I'm wondering if there are any teams in the Ayrshire or Glasgow area. Looking to play speedball type games ideally but I've nothing against woodland, scenario etc. I'm 22 years old hoping to find folk over 18 (no offence intended to the younger players!)

If there are no existing teams if anybody fancies starting up a new one?

it might be worth goin to your local paintball arena or on the website and ask about the teams and just ask around for tryout and stuff hope this help good luck

speedball wise there are a few.

for the time being, most training is done at terminator paintball / scotkart in cambuslang.

any of the guys on here that have played on the field rave about it.

team wise there is:

NX - based in the glasgow area
East Coast NV - although on paper an aberdeen team, do a lot of training there

and we have a fledgling tourney team still very much in the works.

hey i work down at terminator paintball, there's teams down quite regularly, including aberdeen fusion and shadow faction who were training together at the weekend. the field is excellent, its astro turfed for all weather play (NX put that to the test this weekend...gales and torrential rain didnt stop training ) and floodlit. got indoor changing and staging tent to keep all your stuff in and theres the pizzeria inside the racetrack for plenty of food and hot drinks
if your looking to get playing have a look at the 'comprehensive team list 2011' thread to get in touch with some teams. there is a team coming down to play on the 27th so that might be a good day to turn up and play
