They're great markers. Things to look out for are:

1. Eye/detent covers are tricky to remove. Once you've got the hang of it, it's not a problem. Easier 3-piece covers are arriving mid-August.

2. Some people experience bolt-stick (bolt sitcking forward) - most common cause seems to be the glue on the breech seal going gummy, slightly pushing the breech out of alignment. Replace the seal and problem sorted.

Regular maintenance is limited to cleaning, putting some oil in the asa and dry firing it through.

I've found mine to be an absolute mowing machine.

Played with a guy who's breach has flown open in a number of games, watch out for it, also if it does do it, make sure you know where the bolt is! As he has lost it before when that happened.

Also the bolt can move forward when you are not using it, say when its in your kitbag. This will push in the detents and pretty much fcuk them. So it could be seen as wise to remove the bolt when you put your gat away. But make sure you put it back in when you come to use it as if you fire it without it in the gas will just make the ball explode, then you have a cleaning job on your hands!

If you leave the breech lock open then the breech will fly open, and it will leave a mark on the side of the marker. Also the breech hinge pins will get bent, and it's this that causes the bolt stick. So remember to close the breech lock.
The ram is a new design for the A1, which has no resistance so the bolt will move about when de-gassed, but i've never seen any detent damage.
