Team ZONE (UK) has the pleasure to announce, that at the end of June, 10 members of the squad will be travelling to Malaysia. The trip came about after Team ZONE helped out Jentayu at last years Campaign Cup with kit and advice. A friendship was started with further help and advice being offered, which lead to the invite from Dzul and Azizul Wahab on behalf of the Malaysian Paintball Association. The team will be assisting the MPA with the organisation, promotion, and marshalling of the inaugural Malaysian Paintball Circuit event, and generally promoting the sport during the week the team will be staying. Any other teams or companies wishing to help Team ZONE, with this opportunity to promote the sport to this new paintball market, which until recently was illegal, should contact Steve Brind on +44 (7970) 636064, or stephenbrind@hotmail.com

Team ZONE (UK) helps promote PB in Malaysia

To whom it may concern,

Paintball in Malaysia has been until recently illegal. At the Campaign Cup 2003 a team called Jentayu flew to London with a view to obtaining footage and taking part in a large well organised tournament. The purpose of this trip was to put a case to the Malaysian government to allow a tournament to be run in that country.

Jentayu arrived in London with no playing kit or markers. Team Zone offered assistance with game play and lent markers to Jentayu players. Jentayu enjoyed their weekend immensely and there was a huge cheer when they won their first game. Thanks to their continuing efforts Jentayu have gained the consent of the government to host the first ever paintball tournament in Malaysia. As a mark of gratitude for the hospitality shown to them in London Jentayu have invited Team Zone to represent Europe at this inaugural event. Zone are happy and privileged to accept this offer and will be travelling to Malaysia at the end of June to marshal an event and then to play in an invitational tournament consisting of teams from South East Asia, Europe and North America.

As a paintball company I am sure you appreciate the opportunity to have your products displayed to a brand new market. Team Zone want to promote European paintball and manufacturers to the best of our ability. As a result of this we would like to offer you the opportunity to supply our team with any equipment, be it clothing, goggles, markers etc that you would like to have on show at a new tournament. The event itself is planned to be on nationwide television in Malaysia and may be shown in other countries as well. Please give this your careful consideration as this is an opportunity to get early product placement in a new and soon to be growing market.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact our team captain, Steve Brind, on +44 7970636064 or email stephenbrind@hotmail.com

Regards,

Team Zone
