I have been visiting So Manc's site for the last couple of weeks, and today I dropped in at D7's North for their practice against the Outlawz.
I am impressed that both of these teams are putting the effort in - and some of them are digging deep in their pockets to pay for their Millennium fields in the first place - in order to train and better themselves.
Like The Northern Quarter, they are trying to supply a training facility for teams to better themselves and to really compete in this sport.
I would like to urge all teams who are serious about improving their game to get their asses over to these sites, as a wise old man (Robbo) is quite correct about the value of training.
In particular, I think the PA teams should be getting together to train against each other on a regular basis, so the less experienced can learn from the more well-travelled players.
How about it, guys? Anyone fancy coming to these sites in the run up to the PA?
Post up if you do and we can fix it up.
PS: Weeble and the Bulldogs are trying to train hard too, and they have their own field also.
