Team practice!

Ok, a lot of you peeps in here have been wondering what I look like on the field. Come to practice Saturday and find out! Conveniently located for you people, it's in Birmingham at Excaliber. 2 SupAir fields with Diablo bunkers, open Wed-Sun for you to come out and see in advance. Anyway, we don't say Alabammer...if anything we just shorten it to Bama. Montgomery, you say? My mom and dad and little brother live there in fact. You should stop by the F. Scott Fitzgerald home, first White House of the Confederacy, state capitol, etc. while there too, if nothing else to get some pics for friends when you get back. All of those are actually very close to my house! Birmingham, where I am, is about an hour and fifteen minutes north of there. Let me know when you're coming!

Family friends

Some old friends of the family just moved down to Bama about a year ago. I think we are due for a family trip down there some time soon. I doubt I'll have a chance to play 'ball, but I'd have to check out the cooking.

Well, I wrote it like that because it's sounds like a lot of the Southern peeps say it like AlaBAAAAAAMMuh, and the muh at the end sounds like an Englishman saying er. At least them folks in Georgia sounded like that.
But hey, you live there, you'd know the best I guess.

Hmmm.....my Dad's a homegrown kentucy southern boy, I've got relatives all over 'Bama', and during the holidays I live next door to West Virginia! - surely that doesn't make me a hillibillie??!! DOH!

Has anyone ever noticed on the american cop shows on channel 5 (in England) that almost all of the car chases and drug trafficing, an drunk driving - and lunatics are always recorded on video somewhere in Georgia and the southern states???!! Typical
