I am currently in the proccess of compiling a comprehensive database of the paintball teams in the UK. There are over 200 teams spread throughout the UK that play at all different levels. By having your team listed you will find it easier to recruit new talent and hopefully achieve your objectives as a paintball team.

The Team Guide aims to put players in touch with the teams in your area without having to trawl through loads of Internet sites. Most of the teams on this guide have links back to their own website so that you can find out more about them and email address' if you wish to contact them.

Paintball is rapidly becoming one of the country's most popular leisure activities with thousands of people playing on a regular basis. Sites operate throughout the year although some may be closed over festive or holiday periods. Many people who first play on a stag party, hen party or corporate day out enjoyed themselves but don't really know how to get into playing on a regular basis. Now they can find a local team to help them and show them the ropes.

If you wish for your team to appear in the Team Guide please forward me your e-mail address so that I can send you the relevant information.

Thank you for your time:D

Vikki,

Great Idea, I'll E mail you the Clan details.

On this note, is it possible to now run a marker database, as some of you may or may not be aware after the shooting incident in Scotland a few weeks ago the authorities are looking at banning air weapons, if this goes ahead in Scotland we could potentially face yet another paintball ban, as the above are a little niave to paintball in it's truer sense. Not saying it's going to happen but I would rather be pro-active than re-active.

Is it possible for players initially to register their markers as follows.

Player Name
Team
Local Site
Marker
Marker Serial Number
Date Purchased
Purchased from

And if you sell a marker private you transfer ownership to the other party involved.

This way we as a paintball community have control over our markers.

A1 Paintball are looking at starting a database for Scotland and Scottish Players, problem is, if players outside the fold of say Clan and Keltics etc buy markers from a retailer then we lose control, is it again an option for these retailers to forward the above details to A1 for Scottish Sales??

Sorry, not hijacking this thread I just think if we know who all owns markers then we can contact them and ensure they are being used for their correct purpose?????

Just a thought ;)
