Hi there,

I'm attending the Tippman Challenge in July, and have a few questions which I hope someone can answer.

Can you take your own paint?
Rate Of Fire Cap?
Fire Modes allowed?
Are pyrotechnics allowed (thunder flashes, paint grenades, smoke grenades, etc)?

Cheers,

Dean.

The answers to all of your questions will be available in the mahoosive player's pack which will be released in good time...

I can tell you for free (put your money away) that you can not use your own paint. Your weekend will be a short one if you turn up with either your own paint or paint grenades.

Sennybridge is a ministry of defence training facility. The M.o.D will stop paintball events being allowed on sites if we start painting their facilities bright yellow...

Tippmann Challenge UK 2012 is a CLEAR PAINT ONLY event. Supplier for the paint is BZ paintball and you need to pre-order and pay in advance for your paint. Make sure you get enough by the closing date of May 7th as there will only be one case per player if you run out to buy at the event...

If you feel you've been hit... Walk out.

Pyro's were allowed on the last game there ( every player had to clean up the site of debris after the game)

I'd say around 4 boxes of paint If your trigger happy. The Walk back to staging area last time took 2 mins

I'm no spray and pray merchant, with only a 4 pod pack. So, I'm thinking around 2 cases.

Just got off the phone with my buddy, he's looking at 6 cases  . Figures, as I've just sold him an old but mint condition Unique 6+5 pack...

If I run out of paint, I'll just tap him up  .

Yeah, first thing that went through my mind when I checked out the link kindly posted by MeDiC was "how the f**k does clear paint work?"

Should still be a giggle though.

Dean, Its a fantastic venue for a game, remember its not just a sunday bash-about.! Game play is non-stop from friday eve til Sunday afternoon, we played a night game on the last scenario there. Really fun.

Warning though people, if you play a night game and use a rotor loader, bring some thick tape to cover the on/off blue light.. it really does ruin your vision otherwise

... or, pop the screws off your rotor's battery pack and remove the jumper from the board. It cuts the power to the LED.

Remember "no likey, no lighty!"

I do know that pyro will be used in this game, site has allowances for the size of flash bangs (which will kill within 3m as a rule) and smokes, but the player pack will have everything you need to know and will be released plenty of time before the event to allow players to prepare and gen up.

If you pop over to UKS and have a firtle around, you can find a thread called "tips for surviving Sennybridge" which has a lot of info from people who played the site at CtD2 or have been there as part of active military service, so know what it has in store...

With clear paint you will still see it close up, it is the same as any other paint but without the colour. So you see a thick clear splat.
Usually at clear paint games bounces count, so if you feel it then call yourself out.
