What would i require when buying a first time buyers tank. I see things like 'anti-syphon' 'pro on-off switch' what is all this and other tank related jargon mean and what tank would i best be advised to use. Should i use a drop forward as well, i'm a bit of a back player, but i often break forward and be a late game front player.

If your using Co2 you should have an "anti-siphon" tank with an on-off valve. This means that a small pipe inside your bottle is bent towards the top into the little Co2 gas pocket, this helps prevent your marker sucking up liquid. The on/off valve means that the anti-siphon should fit on your marker, whereas a pin valve would have to be fitted to your specific bottom line (where the tank screws in).

For one the on off switch and drop foward are just perks you dont really need those. The on/off switch just lets you turn the air on and of without taking your tank off of your gun. The drop foward is just a neat little piece of metal that you attach to the bottom of your grip and at the end of your bottom line and it "drops" the tank forward putting it out of your way i just got one they have nifty designs i got a lightning bolt its cool. But other than that make sure your tank fits what you need as in the size and that other than that just make sure you buy a good quality one because if you get one with problems co2 can be your worst nightmare.

Depends on the gun you have and the money you want to spend. Didn't you post that you have an Inferno? That gun works good on CO2, so any tank would work for you there. The difference between a 16oz and 20oz is minimal, but like my women bigger is better. You don't need to worry about anti-syphon, as that is designed to protect the higher end markers, Infernos are designed to run C02. On-off are handy though and will save your o-rings, and the cost diff is little.
