Tank size regulations

i remember that there are certain canisters that you dont have to get checked, they are just fine for life

does anyone remember the size of those tanks? i thought it was to do with the diameter but i really cant remeber

I think it's a lot smaller - 2" or 5cm diameter rings a bell

The 13ci HP air bottles the yanks use are designed to be test free
