tank pressure

I just got me a 3000psi fiber wrap tank which I plan on using with a 4500 max flow, I take it this means I should only fill the tank to 3000psi. But will the tank only fill to 3000psi or will it keep going till it explodes? AH! also how many shots can I expect from a 68cl 3000psi tank using an impy running at around 175 psi? Serves me right for not reading stuff properly!

The tank will fill as long as you put air into it, if you have a 4500 psi air source the tank will fill to it. You need to fill from the 3000 psi fill rigs, or at a dive shop tell them it's only rated to 3000 psi.

Knowing how well made the bottles are, you would probably be safe. BUT DON'T TRY IT...!!!!!!!.

You would almost certainly lose more than that if it went pop!!
