Ok, so what's the deal with the thread, it's locked preventing the masses from replying yet mods & admins are still appending posts to it? It's the forum equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears while shouting 'La, la, la, can't heaaaar yoooooou'.

Either open it or keep it properly locked, let's not have this daft halfway house.

My apologies. When viewing a thread as a mod/admin, it isn't blatantly obvious when it's closed. When I post a reply, there is no warning saying that I am about to reply to a thread that is closed. I did not pay enough attention I guess.

Which has been answered multiple times, including:-

As things stand with the project, there is currently just over £4,000 left that has not been allocated. As has publically been announced on more than one occasion, once this money has been allocated the full accounts for the project will be posted up on the UK Scenario forum so that players can see where the money was raised and spent. Ideally, our original time frame called for this to be at the end of the year, but there has been a delay. A local councillor (**** ***** – email address: ***.***@*********.gov.uk) is trying to assist me to find recipients for the money.

During 2011, Support for Soldiers has raised a total of £6,949.06. Some funds have already been allocated (Combat Stress – full details to be announced at the end of the year). There is currently a balance of £5,452.78 which will be distributed within the next seven days. Once all funds have been distributed, a full annual report and ledger account will be available to the public as was explained when the project was launched along with copies of all receipt as per Best Practise Guidelines.

Re the issue of emails being sent and received, but not read, I have at the moment 168 unread messages in my inbox. Some of these more than a month old and they are not the spammy kind. My phone is about to explode from the amount of whatsapp traffic, so if somebody says he hasn't read an email that's been sent to him, I see nothing strange going on. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people on this site that know this feeling.

I'd be the first to agree with you here Jay. There is one problem though. I have seen the whole email sent to Pete, which includeds PETE'S REPLY TO IT. I find it a bit beyond acceptance that someone will write a lengthy response (and even quote that response in subsequent posts) without reading the email they are responding to.

I've also read the whole thread and can now see where things have been said that seem to coincide with information in that email. Things like the warped insult issue; it was never said that Jim did anything, it was another person at Warped and was even said that Jim would have been furious if he'd known about the incident. Also stuff about the accounts.

I have no reason to take any sides. I've only listened and read EVERYTHING that has been said, without any bias. Apart from all the sidestepping with D10 paint, TCUK site etc, I'd be personally furious if I, for one second, really thought that I and other players had been taken for a ride. BUT, it really is a farcical allegation.

I don't see anyone that actually contributed to this having a problem. If some 'industry people' want to throw mud then let's have them come out and do it themselves. One thing I always see on this forum is the indignation about people doing things behind a username etc, so let's see that same ethos applied to the people that are in the background supposedly 'concerned' about all of this.

Reb, the situation is plain to see for me ... Ledz called barnett yesterday and asked he answer the questions I posed.barbett refuses to. I am sick to death of people jumping on bandwagons who either do not possess the mental capacity to appreciate my points or is so partial they they don't wanna know what's really going on.
I don't care anymore, I really don't give a fuhk about barnett, sables or anyone else who has attacked me. I have explained what happened with the post I didn't read .. and I swore on my kid's life it happened EXACTLY the way I said and I will say it again, That I saw the first few sentences and then I scrolled down 6 foot to the end of the damned email and I decided I really didnt wanna waste my time reading barnet's response. That is the truth of the matter, I have stated it beofre, I have sworn on my kid's life this is the case and yet you are frikkin now calling me a liar and suggesting I use my kids as some sort of emotoinal leverage to confirm my reply .... Now, do me a favour, and if you don't like what you see, it's obvious what to do. You are a guest here as is everyone else .. if a guest accuses me of something like you just have [with my kids] then you are a guest no longer .. can you work out what i just said??

Gadget, the casse is closed, barnett has refused to do what he was asked, it's done. Jay did not realise the thread was closed because there are no alerst to that, even for a mod.
Now, I don't know how to rephrase this so you'll understand but here goes, I am done with all the **** that has come my way from being called a c##t, and someone wishing i got cancer and I'm just so fukked off with people.
Please respect what I have just said but I am, and so is MY site, finished with this whole debacle.
