System X NME - Project Marker
Decided to let this go as 4 markers is becoming too many, no doubt the Automag will be up next.
Started this as a fix up project, it originally had air leaks and velocity problems stopping it from shooting above 140fps, issues have now been resolved after refreshing a lot of O'rings servicing regs, put in some new Hi-Flow barbs and a good re-lube. This marker was used at Staargate shooting a steady 270-280 over the chrono but once the eye plate screw hole became threaded I could no longer use it that day. Reason for auction being I won another marker on the day so no longer need to finish this off.
The NME is in a pewter to clear fade and comes complete with original box, original WAS board (spare), Virtue Board (fitted), original .689 2 piece barrel, CP on/off, printed copy of the owners manual and a printed copy of the virtue board manual. Instructions for the WAS board can be downloaded here http://www.wickedairsportz.com/
Will also throw in a couple of pots of DOW 55 bottle of Tri-Flow, spare detents, and lots of spare O'rings
Outstanding issues that need sorted
Longer/wider screws for eye covers
thr right side eye cover no longer screws in as hole it goes into, the outside edge is threaded, if you try putting screw in without the eye plate it screws in fine so a longer screw will suffice. Alternative solution re-thread the hole and use a wider screw.
Snapped screw
The screw that holds the trigger guard in place and also secure the clam shell frame together at the front is stuck in the frame and snapped off halfway so needs extracted or drilled out then re-tapped. This does not affect the performance of the marker.
Missing screws
there are a couple of screws missing that hold the clam frame together - Sporting earth offered to provide me a full set free of charge, just needed to pay cost for the shipping envelope. Can pass on detials on how to get in touch. This doesn no affect the performance of the marker
Problem with Virtue Alien/NME board
One of the coloured LED's has burned out so the colours in the manual don't all match with what you see on the board, this can be fixed under warranty with virtue, can provide details from emails I have sent to/from virtue on how and where to return it. This does not affect the performance of the marker.
The plan is to let this ride until 10pm on Sunday the 12th October.
Any questions please feel free to ask.
