swivel collars

Hey guys,

after NvS i've had a bit of dirt get under the swivel collar on my Ego 8's reg. When it turns to 4-5 o'clock, it starts to leak air slightly, until i turn it to 7-8 o'clock. It's nothing crucial as it's fine when i have it on the left hand side of the reg, but i do like my baby running like clockwork (no pun intended)

Is there a specific way to remove the swivel collar without risking damage to the macroline elbow, as the only way i see plausable so far is to literally wrench the elbow off with some heavy duty pliers, so i can lift up the collar

The Swivel collar will only come off by backing out the macro elbow. This can be easily done without damaging the marker so long as you are careful and use the right tools. The manual is pretty good at showing which parts come off from where. If you need a hand give me a call.

with a good pair of flat grips

as plyers will slightly damage/scuff your elbow

or use a vice with rubber grips
