Swap Fill nipple with Pressure gauge?

My fill nipple on my Pure Energy tank reg digs into my wrist.

Could I switch the nipple with the pressure gauge - which is about half the height and has a flat surface? (so it won't bother me)

Tried that - and it works - it just seems a bit 'Heath Robinson'

I suppose I'll give it a go next time I play and see if it holds up.

Never had this problem with 12grams.

someone used to sell a washer that you popped into the asa, which did the job.

I've got 4K in the tank right now - so i guess I'll have to play some before I try it.

Might need a bigger adjustable spanner for the gauge as well.

And a new tube of blue loctite.

Wih, mine did the same so i swapped my gauge and fill nipple round, works fine,
But as dave t states is easier to add bottle 0 rings.
