hi, as some of you know i had a raffle for my slg, and the (what i believe to be the buyer - as its a picture i took) has put it on ebay.

well he has put the barrel on ebay, and has given a short description with a picture of the gun included, so many people may think that he is trying to beat ebay and sell a marker. Also he has described it as "bronzed" when i advertised and made sure he knew it was actually baked in an oven.

i realise that 'the owner can sell it for as much as he see's fit' but i don't like it that he might be trying to mislead (knowing or unknowingly) people (probably newer players that aren't aware of the forum communities etc).

Not trying to start a witch hunt or hatemongering but i was just wondering what you guys thought of this as it is currently on £50 odd and £11 postage when they are around £30 ish new.

cheers, snax

This sort of stuff happens all the time on ebay. Let them deal with it , they normally do quite quickly.
Either that or the guy will be getting numerous messages asking if the gat is part of the deal (which it probably is) and I would guess he is answering them accordingly, hence the price. If it turns out he is selling the gat the auction will get busted quick sharp, it may well not see the end just as it has a pic of a gat in it.
Also If he is gonna rip someone off then he would be a fool as he has +300 feedback @100%.

Nothing worth losing any sleep over;)
