I have just completed a “travel to work” survey, as I was not very busy today in the office . . .
Now one thing that really annoys me is all the generic information they ask, like age, sex, religion, ethic minority at the end of the survey.
For example . . . . am I male, female or transgender (M to F), and transgender (F to M)? I of course answered F to M on this last example, and most other "do not wish to comment", or "Jedi" etc.
It really get on my nerves, what difference does it make, whether I am Black or white when travelling around London. This survey was to gauge whether I am pissed off at train crowding, annoyed at delay times etc. Not whether I am a Black British Citizen!
Little rant over; though if someone can explain the reasoning behind this legislation that makes it a requirement to put this bit in, please enlighten me! If you ask me its bollocks and not in context !
