Hi, I havent long got into paintballing, but i keep hearing about these super6 events.

I'm thinking about going along to one, maybe the tippmann challenge. Only problem is, my marker is only semi-auto.
Will i still be able to keep up with the competition?
How much experiance is prefered for such events?
How much cash will i need for paint, food, etc to get me through the day?
Are they as awesome as they look?

Super6 will be perfect for you. Everything you need and all the right people too meet. probably the best way to get into paintball that I can think off. new to paintball folk, very much catered for.

Semi auto is perfectly fine, infact I use nothing but.

Cash its up to you. Paint is £25+ per 2000. Food from about £2 a burger.

Ticket is £50, 2 cases of paint and some grub . .£110. Travel costs vary depending on where your from.


And yes they are awesome. Especially the Saturday night. You'll find a mixture of teams, new players and lone players all mixing it up and having a drink and some dry humping.

Yea, sound pretty awesome.
Just been looking through the sites for diamond wars and tippmann challenge and i've noticed that, what is or isnt included with the tickets isnt very clear.
I'll defo be going to check them out, but, if i'm looking at it right, £75 for entrance and a case of paint is kinda expensive.

Included in the ticket price is entry too both days, air for both days, access to all the competitions and tournaments and the main day itself. Insurance etc etc

Your right its £75 if your add on 1 case of paint too the ticket price. Thats actually very good value, paintballs not the cheapest hobby to have. Super6 give you alot for that 50 notes.

After looking some more...looks like a hell of a lot of overtime in work is in order.
Some things are just worth it.

Will be at diamond wars depending on money.

Yea, will have to do that. I'll be the one wondering round thinking, "what the hell have i gotten myself into".

Got any tips for a newbie like myself? Is there a cutoff for buying tickets?
