Just wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any sites in or around the kent area (Bromley to be precise) that have super air fields, as me and some mates are looking at going into the tourney scene but would like to get some practise in so we can hold on to a shred of dignity and not make complete prats of ourselves.

Either post replies or mail me

Cheers

Eh?

"would like to get some practise in so we can hold on to a shred of dignity and not make complete prats of ourselves"

Whats wrong with doing that??....Worked for us ;)

If you cant find a training site, just get into a comp. No-one is going to poke fun at you for getting lit up on your first tourny (well not much anyway) and it is all part of the experience.

We had not even seen a SA Field before STR, and got whooped big time, but we still got back to the Island with Inane grins on our faces.

(Playing Nexus on our first day was a bit harsh) :p

Got to agree with Silentbob - my first experience with Sup Air was at a tournement.

Yes, we got whipped big time - but that's all part of it - you certainly don't get anybody looking down on you and the like because everybody has been there. Just like learning to drive.

Funniest thing is - even after a few, when you think you are starting to learn and get better, you'll have a game where your whole team is out in about 30 secs (anybody see us play 299 YG at Wrexham!) for no particular reason!

In answer to your question - Sup Air fields are seldom seen outside of tournies (in my limited experience), and I don't know of any specific ones in your area.

Georgemanoli - have you spoken to any of the chaps from Twisted? They were advertising the rent of their sup-air site a week or so ago. If you are in Cheshire, it might be worth your while. Sorry Aarron, I would imagine it will be a bit further than you wanted to travel though!

I think it was Burb who posted the info...

Soon our site in Climping, west sussex will be getting a supair, and it is available for teams to train on, you can even play the site team. Its only an hour away from East croydon station, just get your team together for a road trip :)
