Another poor article today in the usually spot on Sunday Times, its on page 4 and mentions how would be islamists in the UK are using Paintball for training.
If that is true then it's a shame that the Times would print something as badly thought out as that. Paintball training in no way can prepare people for modern urban warfare. The differing power of the ballistics involved alone should make that obvious to anyone with common sense.
That's press for you..the good thing is some people will read that and go try paintball.
Under UK law the legality of a firearm is defined by its propensity to kill. Until a death is directly linked to a paintball marker there is nothing to worry about when it comes to articles like this.
cant we locate the article online and all comment it like the last one ? i seem to recall a positive article being wrote after we all displayed our outrage
When I first saw the article title & picture with the article (image of marker, punta with mask etc) I thought "oh no"
After reading the article, it didn't portray paintball in a negative sense, there wasn't sensationalism about paintball being associated with terrorism.
It just identified that paintball sites had been used for social outings, and the points raised could be discussed anywhere

its true so dont knock the reporter.
having not read the article i cant comment on the quality of the reporting suffice to say that it is becoming a known trend shall we say...
It does seem to be more of a point to gather "like minded individuals" rather than actualy using paintball as a serious training tool for running about with bombs.
