Sub players from other div ??

I may be wrong for saying this but,

Is it only me that thinks if a team is short of a players (1/3 or more ) for any reason that only players from same div or lower should be able to play for that team not from any above div .

for eg if Trigger Happy were short getting K2 players to play for them..

this is only an example not pointin the finger at anyone .

This is always going to be a difficult one until we actually adopt some sort of players ID card that identifies the standard a player normally plays at.
The other problem of course is that most players will play for anyone providing they get a game.
Having done it myself in the past you do feel like your robbing deserving teams of a trophy place but tend to justify it by kidding yourself that it makes up for being forced to play a bye.

To be honest it's something I've been considering for a while based on pro, am and novice.

By giving each player points (based on his/her teams level) you could work out a teams total and set it in a suitable division or restrict players i.e.
If the maximum number of points for a 5 man team is
Novice 8
Am 20
Pro Unlimited

and each player is worth
Novice 1
Am 3
Pro 5

That would allow you to play a player from higher group to play in your division providing the points stack up.
You could even play short to get a higher placed player in whilst not gainin too much advantage.

as i say very rough numbers but you get the idea,

there also one more too be considered..

where am/pro teams either by them selves or with other similar standard teams make up a team together under a sudoname,and then play at a lower level than they are used to...
thus beating on persay lower ranking teams..thus spoiling there game and day.......
i think this should be stopped and a id system would be a good start....
