Right well...post what you like..heres my bit.
All seems to be good at the stadium...nice place food was pretty good and cheap. Ample parking, including overflow.
H-Pac was there with 3000 and 4500 fill stations.
The usual Angel tent, where I had a go on a 4, quite nice and only £900 inc, from LPS , couldnt rip it up too well tho.
Draxxus (Diablo) tent, Got an Extreme Rage Condom for £1.50. looks solid as fcuk, wont hoot through that in a hurry!
Also, a company selling Severe paint..AND the new Racegun!!! That was quite a nice bit of kit £850 inc. Got that to rip quite nicely...tho, the guy mentioned that it was full auto capable..."Not in this country I hope !" I said with a stern look!
Three fields. One of which was an Angel field...apparently dissapointing to play, no central big A.
The fields were set up in an L shape, two in a row then one to one side...but, you could only view from the stands, or from in the corner of the L, so you couldnt see two of the fields very well.
AND...apparently, the staff who run the Stadium, were running around, cleaning up any paint that broke on the track...apparently saying that if it stains, we wouldnt be allowed back today...or maybe next year!! Not good, its only 400m of track, they could have covered Key areas.
The marshalls were a little dissapointing during the first half of the day, but seemed to be better after Lunch, so maybe they were hungry!
Joy Division pulled out for some reason, which left 8 Slots for pro's on Sunday, and 8 Pro teams to fill them, so I heard!
The chrono station was a large inflateable, with one chrono on a table....Phill Webb was there before everygame, setting up someones 2003 Shocker, which he seemed to be able to shoot very fast! Maybe doing a bit of Advertising?!
I had Visions of someone getting carried and dropped into the accumulated "Paint Soup", at the end of the Chrono tent, before the end of the Tourney, I certainly wouldnt want to be the one!!!
Very messy....
There were around half a dozen cameras, including one on a Hoist, shooting the DVD, several on the fields...which lead to Some players doing fantastic dives and slides into bunkers, with one noteable occasion, when the slidee was one of 4 players, with only one opposition left...nowhere near him!!!!
There were also a couple of local TV crews there, and Someone from BBC Radio, interviewing people, including Phil Ham and one of the young ladies from Wolf Pac
Thats about it, duno what else happened, I will leave that to the more seasoned Tourney Visitors!
Gaz
