A 1.1 litre carbon fibre tank is normally a very good starting tank. Average size, not too heavy, good for both tournament and scenario use. Just remember all tanks have a born and death date (these should be 15 years apart) and the tank needs to be tested every 5 years. So factor this is or at least bear it in mind when buying a bottle

I second what jfp says.

On top of that, I would also make sure that you have a high pressure regulator, in full working order without leaks and make sure that there aren't any dents or major damage on the bottle. Good luck!

Think about the cylinder options
I'm not going into my usual detail, just search through my posts as I've repeated it plenty of times

£150 for a fibre cylinder
£40 for an aluminium cylinder

Most fills available are 3000psi, most guns can survive most games without running out of air

If you are flush with cash then go fibre, if you are small then go fibre but with one of the compact cylinders so it ergonomicaly fits

Otherwise go for spending only about £40 and keep the change for paint and gear
