Stripping the paint

Good afternoon all, I've not been on here for a long long time but just after some opinions.

Well I bought a gun a few years ago and the pervious owner decided to do some fancy paint job on it. I am just curious as to what I should use to remove the paint they applied.

Any semi sensible replies welcome!

What marker is it?

It's only a nxt shocker, it's had a thick brush coat of some unknown paint, so I plan to strip it of everything, and respray it and rebuild it as it's not a bad marker.

Just wonder if anyone else has ever done anything similar when it comes to stripping paint
