stripping down for a good scrub ;)

after reffin the phoenix indoor last weekend ive finally got round to cleaning my dye i3 goggles BUT unlike the ease of dismantling my old JT flexs i couldnt figure out how to strip my dyes. anyone know how to take the lense out. ive cleaned it all now with it still in 1 piece but if anyone could run me thru it for future reference then i would be forever in ur debt.

mate... now i dont know about i3's but my invisions have been put under the shower about twenty times and they still work fine...means you dont have strip em down...

doesnt affect the lens then if you leave it to air dry ?

Stripping lens out.

If you do strip the lense down, and manage to succesfully take the lens out of the goggle frame, when you put it back put a small smear of fairy liquid on each of the tabs.

This will make it easier to put back in, and easier to take back out next time.

But if you aint bothered about stripping it down that far, then what they said above.

lol so simply stickin my goggles in the shower will clean em without f**kin over the lens? just if a lens is hard to replace i dunt wanna cockdrop myself and wash the goggles only to wreck the lens, have to buy a replacement and then once again attempt the strip down

if your really worried about the lense, take it out, it may take a while and destroy your thumbs, but at least you wont have a possiblity of effing your lense up.

Blimey J@mes i remember when I posted up ages ago about my I3 lenses and I think you sold me some spare lens, and back then you mentioned about destroying your thumbs... funny how the memory works...

I used to put my proflex's in the washing machine. Seriously.

i get in the shower kitted up, (minus marker) get all the crap off and throw any thing thats still stained in the washer, but the shower usually dus it all for me,
