strange things happening in paintball....

OK, one for the x-files I'm sure....

...about a year and a half ago, my team (Full-on) were at the start of a game down at the temple, and one of my back players angel suddenly went down. After messing about with his gun for a while, trying to figure out what was wrong, he was shot out. Needless to say, we lost the game....(surprise...)

When we got back to the players area, a somewhat disgruntled Fieldy started to pick his gun apart to try and determine the cause of his marker's malfunction. Eventually, he took the barrell off and squeegied it through. There were about 10-15 balls all piled up one after the other. All green victory paint.....except one bright pink ball at one end (yes, the "out" end)

hmmmm....

So we went up to the team we were playing and found out they were all using this pink paint....identical fill.....

hmmmmmmmmm...........

What are the chances of a back player on a sup-air ball field getting shot STRAIGHT up the barrell, from the other end of the field??

Damn, I ain't seen 'em that spooky.....
What did happen to me once, was on a practice day. Both teams had been decimated, and it was now backplayers versus backplayers (artillery duel).
I moved forward to about midfield, just so I could get a shot in that woould not bounce, but it turned out my opponent had done a move as well (ofcourse not as stylish, bold, and agressive as mine). We both spot eachother at the same instant, and we let off a string of paint, both firing Angels. Maybe one or two balls got through (no hits on either of us though), but the final result was a big mist about halfway between us. And two fat backplayers looking at eachother in disbelief......

Yup, and since that day, whenever I look in the mirror, I say: Damn I'm good!!!!!

Seriously, it looks cool though.......But I think the only people that saw it were me and the other guy......

Has anyone shot the top off of someone's marker? I was at my local field and I saw a gun come around the bunker in front of me. I aimed for it and fired(even though we were not playing gun shots), the paintball sailed up ever so slightly, and knocked off his hopper cover. He panicked, swung around the other side of his bunker, and all his paint came flying out. I was so busy laughing I forgot to bunker him.

Yeah, I got a hit on the top of my Revy, knocked the lid straight open... but I didn't have any paint left anyway... or air... or luck, either. Bad game, that was...

Hopper

Ii was playing a wlk on day one day and I saw a ball hit this guy's VL200, break through the plastic, bust a bunch of balls inside the hopper, pop the lid open and spray paint all over the guy.

It was cool.
