strange noises....

most of the guys i play with use eggs or revvys so i cant compare my halo to theirs...

but here goes. was fiddling with my halo today and noticed that (ammong the many other faults with the thing) it sounds funny when you turn it on upside down.... not something id be doing too often... but im curious... sounds kinda like an angry washing machien...

Grease the bearings in the catch cup, there are two, one in teh bottom and one in the top...and I dsont suppose they are supposed to sound right when you invert them

Hmm...I said catch cup, meant gear cover...in teh blue bit...one above and below teh big pulley. You have new ones of those?

Is it teh drive cone rubbing?

EDIT: Thinkinga bout it, teh big pulley is driven via a small cog on teh other side of it...so if it was upside down, this could be out of direct alignment, hence the noise
