Hi! Right, I have a V1 race frame, the one with the dome switch. I'm getting mega bounce! If you hold the trigger past the click and just move your finger a little it bounces like crazy! Can I change the switch for a new one, a better one?

Or does anyone know where I can get a V2 board fitted? I've spoken to someone at Belsales but they can't do it.

Cheers

Up to now, I haven't run any air through it! :)

I'd just uploaded some new settings and was testing them. When I tried the trigger I was getting the bounce. Not even got to the rest of the parts! Hehe.

i have had several versions of the race and the dome one is w?"k , after a few shots the dome loses its spring and then it bounces like a bitch, best get the upgrade to the leaf switch board. email racegun support and they should be able to help

as far as I was aware, don't you have to have the gripframe milled out to take the 'leaf' switch when upgrading from the dome????

The dome race grip I had was no problem at all. In fact, one of my teammates bought it from me and he's had no trouble either.

I think whether it needs milling depends on whether the keypad needs replacing at the same time (i.e. whether you have the ribbon connector keypad or not.) The dome switches are more prone to electrical bounce mostly because they're older, so they've had more chance to wear out. I'm still waiting for a reply from Racegun on whether they have any replacement dome switches left.

the frame needs to be milled on a V1 to be able to fit the leaf switch design.

The orthagraphics are on www.racegun.dk on the support section. If you have a big industrial site near you take a walk around with the drawings and haggle on a price to get it done.
