Stiffi cleaning

Just bought a stiffi barrel kit and was wondering about cleaning it internaly.
I know not to use a fluffy,so whats the best way.
It says use a silicone rubber cleaner,straight shot I suppose,but what about any residue that's left as it also says don't use cloths?
Has there been any enlightement since the advice was issued?
Can I use mutton cloth on the end of string as a pull through?
Or do I just clean it as good as I can with the squeegee?...anxious.cheers..

used a fluffy on mine for over a year with out issues, the bore still A1, even tho i knew you wernt supposed too

As far as i was aware by my mate, He said not to use a fluffy because of the fibers thats on the fluffy so my guess is mate that useing a cloth aswell you would get the fibers in it aswell.

ive been using a fluffy on mine since ive had it and its still perfect

fluffys should not be used on very early stiffi barrells but since then all is good.

Custom products microfibre fluffys are suitable for use on all stiffi barrels, and are pretty much the best rigid fluffys out there
